Lift tape and stick a new pad to the metal surface. 25 peel 'n stick pressure pads (very sticky, go slow). With your purchase I also include: plastic tweezers, an outer sleeve that goes over the case (sold here), an alcohol swab (to wipe the metal surface before repadding if necessary), and toothpicks : ) If the audio is bad, check the pressure pad. It's purpose is to ensure that the tape makes a solid contact with the play head in the cassette player. When the play head touches the tape to read the magnetic data, the tape is literally "sandwiched" between the play head and the pressure pad. Orders go out within 24 hours, USPS (worldwide).
